The BBM for Android recently received an update with the introduction of new features such as BBM Channels and BBM Voice. Over new 100 emotions were also added to the new app but most notably, the BBM 2.0 for Android now supports Gingerbread 2.3.x version.

BBM 2.0 for Android also has another awesome feature that allows users to quickly share Dropbox files with other BBM contacts.

I appreciate that it’s difficult to change something that has been used for a long time and worked, but I wish people can move gradually towards unicode in the near future.
